December 4, 2008

Wednesday, on November 26, in the evening I flew to Oakland airport.  Chris drove along busy freeways, among rushing cars to pick me up.  I look at Kyle and Conrad after three months at college and Christopher after one months.  My sons are taller, stronger, and mature.

On Thanksgiving the family hiked up Mt. Burdell and ate a fantastic dinner.  We talked with up and down tempo about school around the dining table.

Friday, Val and I drove on Highway 1 toward the beach in beautiful weather.

Saturday we bought the Christmas tree. On December 18, Dieter, Kyle, and Conrad will return home and we will decorate our tree.
