My surgery to have another stent placed in my carotid artery happened on Sept. 3.

The prayers of friends on Tuesday night brought God’s blessing.

Val and I went to Redwood City Kaiser hospital on Wednesday.  The surgery took 6 hours, because my artery needed so much work to open, strengthen, and patch it.

Doctor said the surgery was a success.  The human brain is awesome.  I stayed 2 nights and days at hospital.  I have a dime-size incision that needs to heal.

On Friday I came home.  I have to walk my legs, and I hope to start regaining strength in my body.

The prayer is good. We hope this procedure will prevent any future strokes.
